Only after there was a problem with Harry and his wife I began to tune in for the royal family. While some think royal family are irrelevant , I think differently. I think they are more needed in today's world, where everything are fast pace and seems like try to invent new pop culture every day, Royal family is a symbol of steadiness and conservative ( conserved culture ) that necessary for the world if not for its people.
Whenever I saw people commenting on status of RF that deemed to be so passe , or RF are not democratic and whenever Britain or Commonwealth countries need to choose their own head of state or became Republic ... I just thought ... why? RF doen'tplay politic ... why want to eradicate it for something politic?
Anyway, September... Queen Elizabeth II passed away ... RIP, she done marvelous job. And along with her pass... I saw many Paddington Bear (from her Jubilee) and Royal Corgis to send her away, lovely.
Cream Puff
I successfully made cream puff , I made this before... but then I just depend on luck. Was it gonna be like Soes ( Cream Puff ) or Tofu ( this what happen when I made it for the first time)
This time I know the tips and trick... it a success, now what I need is to make them again, so I know that I really knew the tips and trick 😆.
Moon Cakes
I made it, I use last year golden syrup... just need to work on the filling. Overall , I am proud can;t wait to repeat it next year.

Truffle Sauce
In the art, I wrote Truffle Oil... my mistake. My friend love Truffle Sauce, so she gave me one to try. Some people like it a lot ... Me? It's okay.
It got distinctive flavor, I think I would enjoy it if it was regular in my country ... but frankly I don't see what is so special about it... add to that it was pricey... I'm good with Oyster Mushroom and Champignon Mushroom 😆. Nevertheless, I am grateful to my friend , thank you to think of me while away in vacation, to brought me something she thought I need to try in this lifetime LOL
Bali's Peanut and Milk Pie
A special souvenier from Bali. If you like peanut and if you visit Bali ... Bali's peanut is must try. Their peanut somewhat different with other part of Indonesia , imo. Bali's is more long shape ... while in my area more round. I wonder if there are difference in variety . Anyhow... please do try.
Another one is Milk Pie. Not as thick as Hongkong egg tart or Portuguese tart... but with same ingredients, Bali's Milk Pie is more like cookie. I need to learn to make one.
Other than these two , there are other souvenir and snack to be enjoy in Bali. Should I go there soon ?!
Melon
Was it dropped by bird or was it me. But I think it was bird, since I actually never bought Melon ... or I forgot. Anyway, I thought it was a Pumpkin at first, but then it grew and I thought , ah.. it was Winter Melon. Then the vein mark was coming out.... Melon.
I wait and wait and wait... until it no longer grew. I harvest it... but not cut it yet for a week.
And I did... it was great! I am so happy.
