Because I don't know how many good series I will find.
It's really lovely to see a good C- drama of course according to my taste afterall entertainment is a subjective choice ... different with K-Drama or J-Drama or A-Drama , T-Drama or E-Drama 😅 ... C-Drama is more relatable with me because there is (kinda)a share culture not just as Asian but as a Chinese (ethnic) person... not much... but again it's more than another drama that I mention. And I can enhance my Mandarin ... with other drama I can learn new language but with C-Drama I learn more....
Add a good story to the drama/tv series ... I can learn happily 😆 ... right?!
Anyway, year end ... was actually my watching series schedule. But, I got no time for it last year since I am busy. Now on new year, since I start to make cookies, I got time to rest in the evening... like really rest, I'm not doing any clip art or stuff ( because my arm just gave up after cookie making).
What else should I do for rest or while resting. Skin care and watching series. And I'm lucky to find or rather got recommendation from YT for a good C-Drama.
So let me share it 😄

"A story that follows an aerospace engineer Yu Tu and the shining star Qiao Jing Jing. A decision is made to start gaming in order to save her endorsement deal brings her face to face with an old crush. As they grow closer, the two forge ahead to become each other's glory.
Being a well-known celebrity, Qiao Jing Jing has to keep up with appearances in order to maintain her multi-faceted image. Alas, one starts to crack when someone leaks a video of her playing an online game and being terrible at it which is completely inconsistent with the image she has created for herself as the game's ambassador.
Thus, she joins a gaming competition to prove her skills and to prevent herself from losing her endorsements.
Qiao Jing Jing decides to use all of her free time towards improving her game and her decision leads her to reconnect with her old high school classmate, Yu Tu, whom she once had a crush on.
He was a legend at their school, outstanding in everything that he does, while Qiao Jing Jing was just your average girl. Yu Tu went on to become an aerospace engineer who is also an expert gamer. It seems that the online game brought them together once more so she asks him to become her gaming coach."
It was said this series was adaption from a novel. There is a tiny bit of a stereotypical side to this story, but I let it pass since it didn't disturb or had a big impact for the story. Which I actually think that kinda what the story is about (pretty woman with handsome man).
Reading from it synopsis .. I thought this drama was about gaming genre ... but it's not... it's just a promotional item (imo) which kinda smart to include it the story without ramming it into viewer face in awkward way.
Simple story... no stupid drama, no unnecessary conflict or dramatic rival story. Got a tiny bit of friendship story.. nice.
All the actor involve had a great act performance and chemistry, story... again sweet simple .. not dramatic and got a good humor too. I enjoy it very much.. Lovely!

"Freshly graduated doctor Mi Ka was at a jewellery store to purchase a gift for her parents when a jewel heist by armed robbers occurred. A special SWAT team was deployed to take control of the situation and this was how Mi Ka met Special Forces Captain Xing Ke Lei when he helped diffuse an explosive situation. However, because Xing Ke Lei was in full combat uniform and had his face masked, she did not know what he looked like.
A few years later, when finalizing her qualifications to be a full medical surgeon, Mi Ka decides to participate in a joint emergency rescue training exercise between her hospital & the police SWAT team and she unknowingly meets Captain Xing Ke Lei again. A relationship between them begins and eventually develops as they grow to learn more about each other and as they encounter various military and medical situations in future."
Another no stupid conflict story!
If I could ask for a tv series/drama/ story to watch ... I would like to have this kind of story. With You Are My Glory it's pure or at least 90% about romance... but with this You're My Hero ... it got more to offer than just romance... it got story about JOB/carrier, friendship and family.
It does have a bit love rivalry but not to main characters and it pretty much solve decently. Its offer three couple with three type of romance. And also show how the character evolve , interact ,mature and solve problems together as a team, couple and family.
I especially like the SISTER character! I recommend this drama!

"A novel adapted drama about food and romance follows Hua Xiao Mai as she

Light and simple story but another plus is .. there was food involve.
This story was share same director as Chef Fang and it pretty much share same idea .. that about a girl that had a great talent at cooking thus was had a good life thanks to it.
Unlike Chef Fang that more about food and detective story ... Chef Hua is more about a journey on building a business life and personal life.
Because this a historical type of drama .. so there are element of DRAMATIC by natural in this story, there was a love rivalry but not complicated ... romance not a big key in this drama .. food and business are and also a family value.
It's not overly wow production compare to overly dramatic historical story ( no flying, no overly glamour woman with no backbone and easily faint not obnoxious woman yet loved by every male character in the film... no super white or super clean but overly powerful character ..and etc) ... but it fit this kind of story ... simple and about daily life at that time (sort of). The fact is the main character are a normal people from normal background with normal job... very nice.
Verdict ... it entertaining and the food looks delicious ( I even want to learn one of the dish) LOL!
